summer lyn did mine and i loved her and the pictures.
from what i have seen posted, all the vendors on here have done great work.
for dd1, i used a photographer not from this site and was not pleased at all.

Me too!
Photos are amazing and not that it matters as much with a newborn but my very shy older DS warmed up to her immediately and is still 3 mos later asking for her to come back and play with him

We used Shira Z (photos in my album) for DS's newborn shoot and loved her work! She's going to be doing his 1st birthday photos in February. Definitely look into booking soon if you're going to do it, they book up very quickly.

We used Michelle McFadden (vendor on here) and she does amazing work! She did my DS NB shoot (in my album) and I'll be using her for Christmas and the smash the cake. I love her work.

I love Shira, she came to my home, with a ton of props, rocked my fussy newborn to sleep, and proceeded to take the most stunning pictures. She captured his newborn smile, his eyes open, and of course all the typical cherub in cute hat poses. it was above and beyond the kind of thing I expected from a newborn shoot. I also hired her for my wedding too. She captures magic in peoples eyes, I love what she does, its beyond art.
If you'd like to see our newborn photos fm me.
I'm itching to hire her now, but holding out for DS 1 year.

I used Shira (Shira Z Photography). Absolutely love her ! She provide all the props. I didn't need to get anything for DD. She was so calm and gentle with DD. She stood at my house more than 2hrs. Love the pics. We hired her to do our DD 1st birthday shoot !

Im sorry but summer lynn is incredibly overpriced. Even the other photographers mentioned are amazing with reasonable prices.
My friends used summer lynn and while their pics came out cute, they werent sure it was worth the $. they said she was so busy she barely responded to their emails. It would take numerous emails and weeks until she responded. It took over 2-3months for them to finally get the pics.

SummerLyn is costly but I've used her for both DS1 and DS2. Former clients get a slight discount. With DS2 I had my full CD within a week so I can't say that took forever but she is very busy and doesn't always respond to emails ASAP. That being said I LOVE her work, but DS!'s 1st birthday pics were my favorite of the 3 sessions.
Plus she is pregnant herself and due in 5 weeks. She also books out months in advance so I don't know if April is feasible unless she has a cancellation. It's her 5 year anniversary this year and she is running specials but that's on a sporadic basis.
I can't speak on anyone else.

I used Kelly from All Season's. She's also a vendor on here. I love the pics. I've also used her for my Christmas pics the past 3 years. When she came to do DS's newborn shoot, she brought everything with her, and was at my house about 6 hours...also combined newborn shoot with Christmas pics since it was end of November.
She also kept nudging me to drink water and pump...lol...good reminders for a newly bfing mom!

I used Christine Melissa and she was amazing. DD's pics are like works of art. I saw on her FB last night that she is running a special for babies that are due within the next two weeks. Not sure when you're due but it might be worth checking out.
