JC Penny Furniture - Quality??
They seem to have some very nice sets, I'm just wondering about the quality. Anyone buy bedroom sets or couches from here?

we're looking at an entertainment center from there right now... We bought a rug from there in the past- LOVE it... so as soon as I decide on the color finish I think we're ordering it!

Our bedroom set and dining room set are from there. No problems. We've had the bedroom set since Dec '03 and got the dining room set last year.
My mother got a pull out couch and matching chair from there 2 years ago and it's great. I want to say it's made by Lane.

We bought DD's bedroom forniture from JCP...It's really pretty. The bed seems strong & sturdy. The dresser is pretty lousy quality though. The drawers always give us trouble, they're a real PITA.

Its not the store, its the manufacturer that you have to worry about  Alot of these stores carry the same manufacturer's ... so unless its made exclusively by jcpenney, you may get differing opinions ... I personally have no experience with jcp... WHen I looked at their collection of bedrooms sets though, I was turned off by every single piece that had nicks and scratches

I just purchased two nightstands from them and I am very happy with the quality and craftsmanship. They look exactly like they did online and matched perfectly with the bedroom set I already had. I would definitely order from them again.

Bought my bedroom furniture in 2005 from JCP. I love it. Quality stuff and the purchase and delivery were hassle free...I am planning to buy a new living room soon and am looking there first.

I have leather couches and a kitchen table and chairs from there. No complaints whatsoever! Friends and family couldn't believe it when I told them it came from JCP and the clearance price I got!!!
