Where is the best place to buy quality baby furniture??

Is one store better then the others or are they all basically the same??

I liked the service, quality and pricing of the furniture at Behrs.

I tried Behrs, my DH and I went there and no one would help us.. Shame b/c we found furniture we wanted.. I guess b/c we looked young they didnt think we were worth the help. We ended up going to BRU.

We just ordered ours this weekend at Bellini's. We also looked at a few other crib outlet places that had pretty good quality stuff (in NJ).

We went to Behrs, Bellini, BRU, BBB and Stanley's Furniture in Patchogue.

In terms of customer service BRU & BBB were at the bottom of the list. At all three other places DH & I were approached almost the moment we set foot in the store. The lady at Bellini stuck with us at the first set and explained the special Bellini features and then left us alone. The guy at Stanley's was nice enough but at the end applied too much pressure for my taste. The guy at Behrs has been great each of the 6 times I've been there (whether with or without DH).

As far as selection - Behrs by far had the largest selection of furniture on display, as well as the most manufacturers. It is a bit overwhelming to be in that store (which is why I've been back so many times) trying to narrow down what you like and don't like.

Ultimately, DH & I decided on Young America Furniture (after deciding on Creations, then changing to Pali, then changing to etc etc) and will be ordering from Behrs this weekend. The final decision came down to Made in the USA and JPMA certified. Baby's Dream is the only other manufacturer that met both those criteria, but we liked YA better.

We found belini to be the best quality but also the mosy$$$ od the places we looked....we paid about 750 a piece for dresser and crib

I would recommend Behr's as well. We have had nothing but a great experience with them and the quality is really good.

So far Behr's has been great. They called to tell me which pieces are in, even though I didn't even call to ask about that and my estimated delivery date has not passed. Hopefully, delivery will go smoothly and I can give them a great review.

We shopped at BRU and BBB and I thought that the salespeople were pretty helpful even though they are not stores that are just focused on furniture.

At Bellini, I was a bit turned off by the salesperson, who I thought was pushy and not very patient with our questions.

What about Pottery Barn? I love the stuff they have do you think its safe for baby? Has anyone used Pottery Barn Baby?
