I didn't have a shower - but my MOH hosted the after party for my wedding - and it was really nice. I had an afternoon wedding and some guests didn't want the party to end at 5pm - so the party bus toted them back to her house and they all hung out there. Rob and I hung out there too for a good 2 hours. She also bought me a firepit.
I was her MOH also. I paid for her bridal shower (food, favors, etc..) and bought her a regular gift... I think it was a blender or something like that.

I had two.. they both planned and helped pay for my bridal shower. One got us our toasting glasses, the other got me all this VS lingerie. And she also got DH a tool set lol

My entire wedding party bought me a digital video camera. They had it out my entire shower and taped the whole shower. They played off that it was one of theirs. I was so surprised when they handed it to me after I finished opening all my gifts. It was an awesome gift

She paid for a portion of my shower and also bought me luggage and comforter set (chipped in w/2 other bms). She also bought me a bride/groom doll and a throw about marriage.

She paid for the shower favors, my mom paid for the shower. Also, she and the bridesmaids all chipped in to get me the Swarovski Crystal photo frame I wanted.

she made me my head piece- she took metalsmithing classes in college, and did the comb in real pearls, swarovski crystal and silver thread

She and my other BM's, with the exception of one, chipped in and got me a beautiful Oreck vacuum that I have always wanted!! It was the perfect retro 1960's green color I wanted too!!
