Filling a size 5 diaper!!!!!!!
THis whole week Gavin has leaked a size 5 diaper!!!!!
I just bumped him up to the 5s and he doesn't have a problem except at night.
Am I doing something wrong? He DOES go a while with 1 diaper, but I change him right before he falls asleep, so short of changing him before I go to bed I don't know what else to do.....

DS does the SAME thing....he can fill a diaper like I've never seen before. If he wakes in the middle of the night, DH changes him and he fill that 2nd diaper by wake up time!!! Some nights he DOES leak.

You can try one of 2 things: a diaper doubler, which is an insert like a maxi pad or try Huggies Overnights.

DS wears size 5 as well and started to leak at night. I started doing 2 things - changing him right before I put him down, even if he got a clean diaper shortly before bedtime and switching to Huggies overnights at that time. This seemed to help a great deal.

A few weeks ago I discovered Huggies Overnights! They are wonderful! My dc drink a LOT during the day and I was tired of changing sheets and pjs.
Give them a try!

I second the huggies ovenights, I can't believe how rock solid and heavy they are in the morning and not a drop leaks. 8 pm to 8 am.

never had luck with the overnites but pampers makes a ultra protective diaper. ive only seen them in bjs. my boys have not had a leaky diaper since!

we use overnights and diaper doublers. Not sure if we need the doublers but I figured might as well do as much protetion as possible.
