Diaper Size Question...

my boys are 7 months and weigh just over 20lbs each. The last few days we've had leakage issues both overnight and during the day. I haven't altered my changing routine. Do you think it might be time to head up to the next size diaper even though I supposedly have a few more lbs leeway in the current, size 3s?

Re: Diaper Size Question...

I just had this problem last week. I asked 2 of the girls on here and they said dont go by the weight on the package. Gillian is 14 pounds and size 2 says up to 18 pounds and she is leaking in them. I am thinking of going to a 3 this week.

Re: Diaper Size Question...

DS is 8 months old today and I went to size 4 not because of leakage but because he started to get redmarks on his inner thighs.

Re: Diaper Size Question...

Are they just leaking overnight??
If so, I tried using the Huggies Overnight and they are AWESOME

Re: Diaper Size Question...

I switched to 4's when my son was about 19 lbs. even though the box says 22-37 lbs. He wasnt fitting in the 3's properly at all and was wet each morning.

Re: Diaper Size Question...

My son is in size 3 (8 mos./20 lbs.). I just bought him Pampers Cruisers and found that they're a bit higher in the back and more full coverage. I use Huggies Baby Dry (I think) at night.

Re: Diaper Size Question...

I find that DD outgrows the diapers about 3 or 4 lbs BEFORE what it says it should go up to on the package. Id go up to size 4....

DD is 18 lbs and I am finding the size 3 to be geeting snug so I am going up to 4 next week when I buy more diapers...

good luck!
