How do I become a teacher?
I have a law degree. What would I need in terms of requirements? Do I need to go back to school?

Yes. You will need a masters degree in education.

You would also need to complete a student teaching program.
Both Nassau and Suffolk Boces are helpful in terms of explaining what you need to do and how to become certified.

my husband left law to be a teacher. he is completing his Masters in Education through the NYC teaching fellows program. i would look into that!
