What cereal did you start with...
and why? Rice, oatmeal, barley?
ETA: Ped said to start w/ Rice but I believe w/ DD we started w/ oatmeal.

oatmeal i was told its the easiest on the diagestive system. My dd ended up being allergic.
then i did rice and then barley.

oops Oatmeal can be highly allergic for cetain babies thats why i started with rice and then after a few weeks went to oatmeal.. she was well over 6 months though

we started with rice but after only a couple of days DD was very constipated so we went to oatmeal and then barely..barley was always her favorite

I did rice but he hated it so we quickly moved onto oatmeal. And then we tried barley but he didn't like that either.

We just started today (so much fun!!) with rice. DS did okay with it, but he gets constipated easily so if that is the case we will switch to oatmeal.

We did rice then oatmeal then barley.
ETA, DD had minor constipation when we started the cereals so I put a little prune juice in her cereal until we added fruits.

What was her allergic reaction? We just started oatmeal the other day and dd had huge spit ups. Is that an allergic reaction?
