How much cereal do give at each serving and how many times a day..6 months old

Also how much fruit or veggies do you give with it? My doctor just gave me a sheet and didnt really explain how much to give. He eats 4 tbsp of cereal 2 times a day and then half a jar (sometimes a full one if he wants more) of fruit in the moring and and half a jar of veggie at night. Thats all the solids he gets so far and then. He also gets 3 7-8oz bottles a of formula a day and then 2 3oz bottles (after the cereal). Am I giving him to much?

7am- 6oz bottle.

8-10am(depending on her nap)- she gets cereal with a stage 2 fruit. I don't measure the cereal, I just eye ball it, She's an eater so it's a small ball full.

12:00pm- 4-6 oz bottle

1-2pm- 1 jar stage 2 veggie with a little cereal.

4pm- 6 oz. bottle

6pm- 1 stage 2 meat and 1 stage 2 fruit. Then bath and reading time.

6:45- 4-6 oz. bottle and then off to bed she goes.

Andrew is almost 5 months but close enough

6:30 - 7 am a 8oz bottle

8am 3 tablespoons of Oatmeal and a Jar of Fruit

11am 8 oz bottle

2 pm 8 oz bottle

About 30 mins or so later a jar of fruit or veggies

5-6 pm ish 8 oz bottle and another jar of veggies maybe with some cereal.

The ped told me not to push the cereal because Andrew doesn't like it at all. I am lucky I can get it inot him once a day.

Then that is it for the night until the next morning. Unless he napped a lot during the day we will keep him up until 8pm the latest and he will have another 8oz before bed.

He usually goes to bed at 7pm.

Here's Lauren's schedule, she is almost 6 months.... We JUST started her on solids less than 2 weeks ago.

8 a.m. wake - 5 ounce bottle.

9:30 a.m. - cereal with 1/2 fruit

morning nap

12:30 - 5 ounces bottle

afternoon nap

5-6 p.m. - 5 ounce bottle

6:30-7:30 p.m. - cereal and 1/2 veggie

8:30 p.m. - 6 ounce bottle

9 p.m. - bed

Marron is 6 months old today, and this is her usual schedule:

7:30am - 7oz bottle

11:30am - 2 tablespoons of cereal + 1/2 jar stage 1 fruit or veggie followed by 6oz bottle

3:30pm - 6oz bottle

7:30pm - 2 tablespoons of cereal + 1/2 jar stage 1 fruit or veggie

8:00pm - 7oz bottle

The times of her schedule vary based on when she gets up and when she naps, but the "routine" pretty much stays the same.

I don't know if I am feeding her too much or not enough, but she seems satisfied with what she is getting.

Let me ask a question- what is in the bottles you are giving? Is it BM or formula?

1:30 - 1oz of pear juice mixed with 3 oz of water

2pm - 5 oz bottle

3pm - stage 1 veggie

6pm - stage 1 fruit

6:15pm - 5 oz bottle

8:30pm - 6 or 7 oz bottle

He usually has a bowel movement daily.

I switched from rice to barley and haven't given him banana's again yet and he has been better. I just have to figure out how to squeeze in that water.
