yogurt for babies that have a milk protein allergy

ds is almost 11 months old. i started introducing yobaby about a week ago. he did great on it.

i haven't given it to him for about 3 days now but today was poop stink to high heaven. I've never smelled something so vile - i heard him going and a min i literally smelled it 2 rooms over - fishy death like smell ( sorry for such a graphic description) and it look very light brown

could this be from the yogurt? or the protein allergy? he's teething so he has alot more mucus and drool so maybe that could be it too?

he doesn't have excess gas and hasn't been spitting up at all

I'd wait and see how the rest of his poopie diapers are for the next few days.

My Dd is only 8 months but has a milk protein allergy & when I had accidental dairy a few months ago, she had 2 days worth of yucky poopie diapers...and she went a lot more than normal.

If its just the 1 or 2 yucky diapers, I'd think it was ok...if its a lot more than I'd ask the ped.

It could be the teething though!

Good luck. I'm anxious about starting Dd on yogurt and can't wait to give her cheese ( and to eat these things myself since I'm still bfing)! I hope she doesn't have a reaction.
