Yet another Digital SLR question.....
I know there are many of you that have the nikon.
What would be your choice of camera and why?
Nikon D60
Nikon D80
or
Canon eos Rebel xsi
Or do you recomend another?
We already have a camcorder, so I don't think the Nikon D90 is necessary. I am just in DIRE need of a new digital and really want one that will allow me to take quicker shots and control the focus better.

I purchased the D60 a few months ago. I chose that over the D80 for the following reasons:
- Lighter
- Less money
- Features very close to D80
I've always been a fan of Nikon so I didn't look into Canons that much.

Very tough decision! Many reviews (like KenRockwell.com) say the best bet for you money is the D40! I don't think you can go wring with either, I would say if mo ney is not an issue, get the D90. Otherwise, the D80.

I have the canon and love it - it was a toss up between that and the Nikon D40 and I went with Canon as other members of my family had them and loved them. Either way you cannot go wrong.
