XPOST - I am doing the heart walk on Sunday.

Ladies (and Gents) -

Sorry to be a PITA about my heart walk, I just want to let you all know the post was moved to the Charity board. MANY thanks to those of you who donated.

Thanks to all of you for putting up with me. I am just so excited to be able to DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING to help others with the heart condition that I have.

I am on a tear... I called the VP of the Northeast division of AHA and left them a message. I also emailed them. I am stepping into the realm of advocating for heart issues, Congenital heart defects, specifically. In the words of my DH "Well...they really don't know who they are dealing with b/c I KNOW you will be up their azz ALL the time".

I was approached about speaking at an engagement for AHA in November, but I still have to talk to the Northeast VP about that. So this walk for me, is the first of many walks, talks and other advocacy that I will do on the behalf of others who cannot do it for themselves. I would love to see the day that a new valve or artificial heart is developed that would allow me to run the NYC marathon with DH, not be on meds my WHOLE life, and most of all to have another child. Thank you all for putting up with my rants and supporting me through my journey.
