Helena!!! What is going on with our jobs? We both did the same job for two of the top publishing companies and I was let go and now you? I get the feeling managing ed is getting centralized and a lof of our types are getting the boot.
If you want to chat, FM me. I am still out of work, but probably because I don't want managing ed anymore. I am not sure if you want to switch areas, too.

I truly believe everything happens for a reason. You have such a great attitude and the right opportunity will come for you. If your mood changes, remember it's OK to feel sad about the situation, acknowledge those feelings. Remind yourself that you are intelligent and deserve much better.

Helena, I just got home and saw this. I am so sorry that after all the BS you have put up with from your coworkers that you now have to deal with this. In the end, I know you will find something where you are much happier, and that is most important.
