i'm not a democrat but i think i would vote for her just because she is a lady.
but i'm not a full republican either.
Not to pick on you, but that's my biggest concern with this.
I love Hillary, I campaigned for her when she was first running in NY.
BUT I don't want people to vote for her (or anyone) just based on gender, or race or anything.
To me, it's almost as bad as NOT voting for someone just based on those things.
People should vote based on platforms and records and potential as a leader.
Not on a demographic statistic.

I'm a registered Democrat, but I have to say, I would vote for Rudy over her in heartbeat! she is extremely hated in this country and most likely won't even make it to the primaries

i dont know about anyone else but if this woman had any smarts, she would divorce her husband and change her name back to Rodham.
Whenever I hear "Clinton" i think of Bill.
I think Hillary needs to break away from that man before she thinks she can have a chance.
Either way I could care less, b/c Guiliani will now have an even better shot at winning
I happen to agree and think Guillani good a job in the city.

Agreed. And he did some pretty underhanded things before he was mayor. Although he "cleaned up" the peep show district, he also single handedly put nearly 10,000 women out of work who were working legally without any regard as to their future. I think he will suffer the most if people dredge up his pat ties and past doings. JMHO.

I would call her polarizing, more than hated.
I think people either love her or hate her. But she's going to have a tough, tough time winning the south and she's going to need a seriously good campaign manager and spin doctor.
I don't think she or Guilani have a shot this election.
I think they will both wind up bowing out in the primaries if there is a better candidate.

I am not a republican and I don't hate her, but not sure I would vote for her. My hesitations and disappointments with the Clintons are mostly a reaction to Whitewater - more than anything else that happened during hsi presidency. I am not sure I can trust any politician, but have less trust in Hillary due to the whole Whitewater deal.

Again, I am not a Hillary fan, but I don't think it had anything to do with backbone, but rather sticking around to reap the benefits of being his wife. I seriously doubt she would be a US Senator today if she walked. JMO.

I don't think she will win for several reasons:
(1) she is a woman. Sad that this is even an issue- but its true.
(2) she is very liberal and most of the US isn't.
(3) she hasn't done all that much. She is a name, sure. But what has she done to earn her the credentials to be president.
(4) A lot of people HATE her.
I woudl prefer that a more centralized Democrat ran for President. I am completely liberal- but I know that the US isn't. I think a more "rightist" democrat would have a better chance of winning.

Have we not learned from the last two presidential elections that the way NY votes has little impact on the true outcome of the race?
