i don't have a toddler yet, but i think i agree with you! i think moms need the 12 weeks maternity leave when they're between 1and 2. they are all over the place!

You are totally correct!! And the only thing worse than that is a toddler and a baby who is fussy or has reflux or colic!

Awww- I remember those days. I PROMISE you Diana..... it gets better. I SWEAR it does. Suddenly one day you'll be doing something and realize, "OMG- I'm actually DOING something!!"
If I recall, my "yay" moment was the day I got both down for a nap and I was able to take a shower. I might have fed the dog that day too.

having a toddler is 100x harder than a newborn
toddlers can talk back, say no, fight you every step of the way
I am in todder whining, crying, tantrum hell as well and it makes it so much harder with a newborn

I dont have a toddler but I have 3 newborns and I am not looking forward to them being toddlers and running around at the same time.....

ITA....I think the newborn phase was a walk in the park compared to the quickly approaching terrible twos.....I feel more tired from running around all day than I did when I was waking up every 3 hours for feedings

Agreed 100%!!!! I remember being terrified of sleep deprivation & screaming newborns while I was pregnant with my first because everyone talks about how hard it is. DD was 3.5 when DS was born, so while I was pregnant with DS, the thought of the newborn days didn't phase me- I fear toddlerhood & the preschool years!
Don't worry, my mother keeps assuring me it gets easier!
