No idea! But I've been seeing only out of state trucks around and that's what everyone else is saying too. Where are all of the LIPA trucks? I really have to say all of these guys are working their butts off!

We lost power for 2 hours just before the storm hit so LIPA was responsible for getting it back. It must have been just before they stopped working due to the storm.

A South Carolina Company. However the morning after the Nor'Easter we lost half power and then were fully restored on Saturday afternoon by a private company based out of Patchogue.

No idea. I am guessing LIPA because it came back on 4 days after the storm. My parents were without power much longer and a crew from Ohio fixed it.

A crew from Mississippi. We were out for 13 days, and I am so glad they came. I'm sure I'd still be waiting for LIPA.

Question- how did you guys know where they were from?
Did you see the trucks with the name of the company on them?
Did you go out and ask them?
I didn't even see a truck at all- then wham the lights came on- my guess was they were working on the high tension lines behind my block- so I wouldn't have seen them... the lines TO my house are underground- so maybe that is why I didn't see anyone?
It was also after dark when they came on...

Ours came this weekend and we spoke with them since we were home. Otherwise, I'd have no idea. They told us this was some of the worst electrical damage they had ever seen, and these guys had seen Katrina. They noted that was more of a flooding issue.
