I just keep hearing "Tonight's the night" running through my head.
I honestly don't know why they have these stupid theme nights. I can understand a decade night/ an original song night, but these performer nights are ridiculious.
ETA: I just had a flashback to a couple of years ago late after work (about 3:30am) my co-worker and I went across the street to have an after work beverage to a bar called O'Flartey's. We were sitting have a beer and talking when we noticed this guy at the jukebox who looked just like Rod Stewart. The jukebox starts playing and of course it is a Rod Stewart (can't remember which one)song he sits at the end of the bar and starts singing at the top of his lungs !!!! We both just cracked up and then started singing harmony with him!!!

Fear not Rod Stewart haters! Randy Jackson was on Ellen this morning and he said that the kids will not be singing actual Rod Stewart songs, but songs from his Great American Songbook collections.
Got the following excerpt from this site:
Next week, legendary singer Rod Stewart will lend his talents to the Idol finalists as they perform classic American songs on Tuesday’s show. In addition, Stewart will perform live on Wednesday’s results show.
So, I don't know which one you think is worse!

I am not a huge Manilow fan, but no matter what I think about Barry as a solo performer, the man is talented!!! He has written and arranged for so many great people throughout his career!!! He really is amazing in that aspect.

Here Here! Neither one of them are easy on the eyes. But Barry can write and sing! Then again, Rod (forgive me while I laugh here) has had his share of incredible gorgeous women over the years. I am sure they dont call him ROD for nothing!
