Which Doctor? Pediatrician or ENT? HELP!!!!!
My oldest DD just told me that she was playing with a piece of balled up paper??? and it slipped into her ear She is 7 years old and has been an angel to raise. Poor baby is crying-she is scared cause dad got really upset on the phone-he told her he was disappointed-she is a daddy's girl. She says she feels it in her ear-thing is which doctor do we go to? ENT or Ped?

Oh my goodness, poor thing. Are you waiting till tomorrow? I would probably take her to the ped. Maybe they could get it out. Who am I kidding I'd if that was me I'd probably take her to the ER. I am so paranoid

It sounds to me like an emergency. I would go to the ER. I wouldn't wait till tomorrow. I hope she is ok. Good Luck.

I would call the Ped's after hour dr on call and ask what to do....
I would only trust my ped's opinion.
Tell her these things happen, everyone makes mistakes..

I was going to the ER but my mom said iif it doesnt hurt it can wait til tomorrow. apparently I put something in my ear when I was younger and they took me the hospital next day. DH will be home soon..I think I will go with my original plan and go to Mercy ER

Good idea I am not thinking. Just panicking till DH gets home.
ETA: Her Ped said to bring her in first thing tomorrow and she will take a look.
