I love both colors but I'm partial to orange in a dining room and/or kitchen. The blue is beautiful (especially for a bedroom or bathroom) but the orange really makes your moulding and furniture pop.
Blue is on the other side of the spectrum from orange/red so the blue vase in your cabinet really pops against the orange. I love it.
I agree with Beth - an area rug will really tie it all together.
while i like the orange, I think the opposite that the blue really makes you floor and furniture pop b/c blue makes the orange tones of the wood come out. I think it also look beautiful with the white.
But they both look nice so it's really just a matter of taste.

I think the orange color gives it a more warm feeling.
Is that a lil' bird cage in the corner.

They're both nice, but I like the blue much better. I'm sort of biased, though, as I'm not a fan of dark colors on walls...
I don't think you can go wrong either way -- what fits best with your house and your taste? Go with that one!
BTW -- what a neat idea to take the photos and photoshop paint the walls. I'll have to keep that in mind!!

I like both, they have a totally different feel.
The orange feels warm and inviting, and the blue feels cool an relaxing. I'd personally choose the blue.

Right now the entire house is beige. We're trying to pull in color. I think the Orange color will work better with the other colors that we're thinking about. But...I love the orange and DH is all about the blue!

I prefer the blue because it brings in so much light to the room as reflective and it contrasts with the dark furniture.

I like the red... I think it makes your room warmer and with the right rug will make it cozy..... go with the blue if you dont want it as formal I think...
also, random question, but I can't figure out how to color in just a specific section in Photoshop (the way your DH did it on just the walls).... if someone could be so kind as to explain, I'd be grateful :)

my first thought is the orange, but I have been seeing that blue everywhere lately-its a really hot color-esp w/cocoa and olive green.
Im thinking maybe it's a better color for a bedroom or bathroom though? Im not sure!
