Where can I find cute sandals for large baby/toddler boy feet?
Stride Rite doesn't have anything I like!

It depends on what you like, for my DS I got him the leather sandlas from Striderite (outlet) in an XW. And also got him crocs (they always run wider and you can get the fakes and save some money - I did). They both worked great.
What kind of sandals are you looking for??

I really don't know but I don't think I want a closed toe because then I might as well just use shoes. I think his toes want some breathing room. Stride Rite was okay but I didn't want to pay $45 for sandals I really didn't like.

I have spent two FULL days on a mission for sandals and have come up empty handed.
I tried a cheap wide pair from Target. Literally one show was bigger then the other, returned those.
I was at Deer Park outlets yesterday , saw nothing there ....like you I want an open toe.
I did see as Iw as shopping for me  at Famous Footwear they are havign a buy one get one 50% off, making the prices better...a pair or two that are wide..one was Timberland and I cannot remember the other one.....They were about $24-$30 each. I didnt end up liking the colors but they were the nicest pairs as far as quality and width I had seen.
If I see anything else will let ya know.
I have NO CLUE where else to go though.

I can't believe the lack of choices they have for boys. I went to Payless because I actually really like one of their brands but they had one sandal in his size and it was the Cars characters which I don't want for him.
I might have to get the little Crocs for him.

osh kosh makes wide does (but they dont call it W, it's just their reg sizes, but they make a nice wide shoe/sandal.
you can find em at kohls, MJM, etc.

I like some of the sandals for boys at Stride Rite but I think 50 bucks is a little ridiculous...and I ALWAYS buy Stride Rite shoes.
I saw a cute pair at Payless and Target. I'm going to have to take him there to try on.

I just ordered these Pediped Flex yesterday. All of the stride rite sandals seemed to bother my DS's fat foot. He didn't like the velcro going across his foot. Image Attachment(s):

Cailen has wide feet. They do run wide. Even though the toes are covered they are awesome. They can get wet too. His feet will breathe in them!

Oh, good, they fit fat feet?
Gavin had them last year and they seemed ok so I was thinking of getting them again.....high arch + fat feet=hard to find shoes!

YES, Ds has wide feet. These are the sandals he wore last year..and I loved them so much I got him another pair for this year. I also ordered a different pair of primigi's from 6pm.com last weekImage Attachment(s):

Check Sears...
I bought DD two pairs of sandals there before Easter...she has wide feet and they fit her soooo well...they had a good selection and the shoes were inexpensive...and DD loves wearing them!!
I think I paid $36 for both pair!
ets - both were sandals, but closed toe!

I think it depends on how their feet are wide bc my experience has been the opposite. My DS #2 has a high instep and he cannot fit into any style of Keens. My older son has 2 pair and I love them for kids. For DS #2 I got him closed toe sandals at the SR outlet for $30. Payless has sandals that run wide but I'm n ot sure if they have closed toe.
