Honestly I think you can get the flu at any time of the year.
The one and only time I had the flu in my life I had it in the summer.
Peak season though probably ends in the spring I would guess?

I heard the other day we could see the flu sticking in our area until May but they said the height of it should be over by mid Feb.

When is FLU Season Over?
I heard we have another six weeks to go and that NYC still hasn't reached its 'peak'.
They said by mid March it will be around but more of a 'lingering' state.

Flu season technically goes until around April. It can be around a year but the "season" is Nov through April. I think Jan- March or so is the "peak period. But it can always change from year to year.
