As late as possible... late december...as long as the tree lasts.
We have to at least keep it up until Little Christmas.

When I was living home, my parents always waited until January 6th, but DH's birthday is January 10th and he gave me sad puppy eyes and told me that his parents always kept the tree up until his birthday so that is what we will do. It looks like it will be coming down the weekend of the 13th and 14th.

We usually take it down the day after new years, but normally we put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving. This year we didn't get the tree up till four days before Christmas because we were having our new floors installed, so I want it to stay up for a little while. I am so bad this year. I am hoping to get my Christmas cards out before Spring.

Considering that we just put our tree up on Saturday, we are probably keeping ours up for a little while more. It's a fake tree so we can get away with it....

Probably this Saturday. We've had our apartment decorated since Thanksgiving. I'm ready for my living room to be normal again.
Besides, the tree looks lonely with no presents under it now.
This is exactly what I was going to say.
