Re: When did you retire the swing?

She wasn't a fan of our swing at home but loved the travel swing. Grandma just put that away probably at 10 months!

With great sadness at 11 months. He napped in it and I was so scared he wouldn't nap in the crib, but he actually does better in there Chat Icon

So girls that said, 10 or 11 months... the swing still works?? Maybe my kids were little porkers, but that swings motor sounded like it was going to blow if I tried to get it to work at 5 months. Chat Icon I have the Papasan by the way.

Chat Icon well i did have to change the batteries more often as dd got older. but motor is still kicking.. the only bad part is when dd got bigger she was able to reach the fish that spun and would grab them and burnt out that motor. Chat Icon Im hoping maybe fisher price will help me out with that.

Re: When did you retire the swing?

DS loved his swing. But once he started sitting up - I'd say arond 5 mos - i put him in it a lot less - he was too mobile it worried me. By 6 mos he wanted no part of it! I still haven't put it away yet though...I'm such a baby!

10 months....he LOVED the swing...up until ten months he literally stayed in it 3 times a day...and almost an hr or more each time!!! I had to stop it bc he was literally hanging off the side!
