when did you retire the swing?

the limit on the swings is 25 pounds, however, my girls are 15 pounds and the swing is squeaking when I put them in it. Should I retire them?

Re: when did you retire the swing?

I retired it for Matthew only because he would turn around in it. He is 18 pounds and still fits in it, but it was not safe for him.
Christopher still naps in it.
It is so nice just having 1 swing in the hallwayChat Icon

I retired it as soon as he tried to sit up in it.

I retired it at 11 months, they were no where near the limit and they loved being in it. Did you try spreading the legs apart a bit thay helped with the squeaking on mine, I had the aquarium one so not sure if that would work with other ones.
