Re: When are/did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I'm almost 13 weeks and were my band on one pair of jeans, but it feels weird to me. My chest has grown, but I still fit in some of my bras.

Today I ordered a pair of maternity jeans and a pair of work pants, as I only fit into one pair for work.

My clothes fit, I just feel uncomfortable. Yesterday, I went shopping and bought 3 flowy tops from Ann Taylor.

I want to say 16 weeks things got snug for me this time around. Now, at 22 weeks, I'm just starting to wear real maternity pants with the panel in them. Up until this point, I've been wearing the adjustable waist pants.

Re: When are/did you start wearing maternity clothes?

At 16 weeks I needed to begin buying maternity pants. Even wearing the Bella Band, I found it was still uncomfortable to try and wear those regular pants any longer. Now at almost 18 weeks, I havent looked back and love every second I'm in maternity pants! So comfortable!!Chat Icon I have yet to wear a maternity top though as I'm still able to get away with wearing many of my regular tops.

Right there with you. I gave up on my jeans; I've bloated past the point of no return and my tops/bras are just not working out. I bought a few pairs of work stuff that is ROOMY. I don't care if I look like a frump; I need to be comfortable.

With my first DD I didn't wear maternity till close to 20 weeks.

This time its a whole different ballgame! I'm 17 weeks and have been wearing maternity pants for a good 5 weeks!

Re: When are/did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I switched over to all maternity clothes at 15 weeks. I tried the bella band for a couple of weeks and it just wasn't comfortable. I LOVE stretchy maternity pants and I'm so happy I switched over when I did. It just wasn't worth trying to squeeze into my regular clothes. I can still wear pre-PG shirts at 19 weeks, but I only have a few left that are long enough to cover up the panel on the pants.

Re: When are/did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I started mixing in maternity pants around 15 weeks, and I am wearing my first maternity shirt today at 22 weeks - I still have regular pants I wear with a belly band and most of my shirts still fit me they are just getting very snug.

12 weeks:
I'm going shopping today. My pants (dress pants and tight jeans) aren't going to cut it anymore.

I bought a pair of dress pants 1 and then 2 sizes too big at the beginning & now need more.

I don't like the idea of having my pants unbuttoned... so no band for me.

This pregnancy, 13 weeks.
I've been doing the rubberband trick for a few weeks now though, and wearing my bigger clothes.

Re: When are/did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I can't even remember but I started wearing maternity pants early on. The bloating was just too much for me. I think I started around 10 weeks but then stopped wearing regular pants completely by 15 weeks or so.

I feel you about the boobs. Mine were a small B and now feel like a very large D Chat Icon I finally gave up on my regular tops only recently though around 20 weeks?
