What's on your child's (or yours for your child) Holiday Wish List?
This is what I have so far
Stocking stuffers left like felt boards, crayons, coloring books, etc. And I also just want to get him a play doh kit building kit.

Anything to do with Thomas the Train for Jared.
I have no idea for Nikolas...
I also want to get a bunch of new books for them. Jared LOVES to read.

We plan on finally starting DS up with some Thomas the Train stuff for Christmas. Poor kid has been in love with these everytime we go to the bookstore for MONTHS now.
Just a few little things other than that.

They are getting brand new rooms for Halloween/Thanksgiving (depending on when construction and painting are done), so they aren't getting a whole lot for Christmas. Probably something for their rooms. Wall stickers, shelves, etc.... Also, we'll finally be able to spread out all their current toys, so they'll probably think they got a few dozen new toys anyway....

We' re getting Miranda a doll house and things to go with it. Probably a Dora thing or two and something from the Wonder Pets if she's still into those shows then.
We'll have a newborn as well. I'm at a loss there on what to get.

How funny! I just made a post like this on another parenting board I'm on....
I tend to overbuy because I get a check with all my unused sick time (which is always 12 days because I refuse to call in) so this is what I picked out for this year.....
We may give Genevieve something in November for her birthday, and hold something back for Billy until March for his birthday because its a lot. I also want to get them a sand & water table, so I may do that if I hold gifts back....
I was going to get them a Hummer to share, but the reviews were terrible. The reviews on these are great, and its cheaper to buy two than to buy most double cars/SUVs....AND they wont have to fight over it!
I'll get them up in a little while

DS just got Ming Ming for being a brave boy at the Dr. (He had his bloods done finally) And he loves it.
I think we are getting his thomas toy box and the thomas train set. Maybe the Elmo live. He seems to be in an Elmo lull, so we'll see. He is also getting his big boy chair for his room.

I haven't even thought about it.
But this kid has EVERYTHING so I can't imagine finding a toy or two in the store that he doesn't have.
Just last week after he got TWO, yes, TWO different bounce houses...that he is not getting any more toys! It has to be educational or arts and crafts. We are gettting run out of our house!!!

I haven't even put much thought into Hayley's b-day party yet and that is in September. I have been too preparing for  next week.
When I am out on maternity leave I will think about Christmas gifts

I have been thinking a lot about Christmas also.. only because My DS's 3rd b-day is the day after Christmas so it's a really big shopping time for us..
I also feel like last year I didn't really think things through about what I wanted to get him and other than his big gifts( art easel, PBK kids anywhere chair) I got a lot of things that I wish I hadn't and couldn't think of anything he really needed when people asked
So... so far I have decided I want to get him this (after seeing the debate about boys with kitchens).. DH said he couldn't care less.. and I don't think it's too girly.. when we went to his pre-school "orientation".. he ran right to the kitchen
I want to get him at least one Ugly Doll.. probably this one (it's double sided)
And of course a bunch of Thomas Trains and I want to get some sort of trunk or holder for all his trains and tracks

Robbie will ask for 50 video games and will probably get one. He'll also get a Lego's and MAYBE the nightvision goggles he's been eyeballing. I really don't know what else yet?
Noah will probably be the happy recipient of a few costumes (we stock up on the after Halloween sales!), mew art supplies for his easel, some action figures and .. I don't know.. stuff.
We'll probably get a couple of board games for Family Fun night too.
