I pay 110 a month for before care for my son who is in 3rd grade. I think 100 a week is way too much IMO



Agree. I think $100 a week is a lot.

Agree. I think $100 a week is a lot.



It's not the same fact pattern. Beforecare is for multiple kids so of course it is going to be cheaper, and you're paying for 1 kid so of course it is going to be cheaper. I paid for aftercare vs a sitter because of course it is cheaper, because it isn't a one on one

I had to have a sitter AFTER aftercare for one school year and I paid her $100 a week for pretty much one hour a day (and every other week it was 4 days because my ex got my son on that Friday). You have to make it worth someone's while

Agreed. I do back up care for several families and my hourly rate is a lot higher than a standard babysitter because I’m stictly backup. I quoted her $100 if she goes with it great. If not that’s fine too.

This is for two kids though.

I personally wouldn't do it for less than $100 because that's a huge amount of work to me to take on 2 kids in the morning before school, when things can be very chaotic!
