What would be the first thing you'd make with a Kitchenaid Mixer?
JUST in case Santa brings it for me, I'm wondering what is the first thing I can/should make with it. Maybe even on Christmas day with DS. I already have flour at home, sugar, butter, baking soda, vanilla. Just basic ingredients.
But I've never made anything from scratch. Any suggestions?

Agreed. There's nothing like freshly made cookies on Christmas day! And with sugar cookies, you can do fun Christmas shapes and sprinkles.

I'd make cheesecake. So much easier beating the creamcheese with the kitchenaid then a hand mixer!

santa, aka mom is bringing me one for xmas - i cannot wait - i hope santa brings you one too!!
i always make cookies from scratch without one... but just made a triple chocolate cookie that were so yummy but woulda been easier with a mixer. if interested, i'll post recipe.

I make my own bread, so I would make a dough that's hard to work with a wooden spoon, like the dough for Anadama bread or Finnish pulla bread!
From what you have on hand, I would say cut-out sugar cookies would be perfect!!

Funny you posted this! I called my mom today to ask if I could come over on Friday to use hers to make a buttermilk spice cake with cream cheese pecan frosting for DD's birthday. SHe said No and I was About an hour later she arrived and said Merry Early Christmas! SO the answer is above!!!! I plan to also make chocolate cokies with DD tomorrow so that is really the first thing we'll be making in it!
