I share your feelings. As I posted we pulled it out at Thanksgiving for the first time and I cannot wait to use it again. In fact I may have to bake something to take to work later this week

I make cookies and I think I am going to get some more recipes and make some more. I just have to make sure not to eat them!

That's great. I have been thinking of getting one since I never registered for one but wondered if it was worth it?
Do you leave it out on the counter or store it away? That is the other thing. I hate to leave it out but I know they are so heavy would I really take it out to use it instead of the handheld mixer?
What did you think was so great about it? Help me decide!

I had my stored away for a good month or so and then I decided that it needed to be out so I could use it more often!!! If you have the room for it, I recommend leaving it out. I really, really, really love mine and it saved my behind this past week with Thanksgiving!!! I wish I had more than one truly!!!
DH bought us the shredder/chopper attachment for 50 bucks and I love that thing so very much!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my mixer 
it stays on the counter for easy access.... you never know when you might need to make a devilish dessert it makes the process WAY too easy

When we moved into our house in May I decided to keep it on the counter hoping it would spark my interest in using it. I have a lot of counter space, so it's not big deal for me.
I have a hand mixer too - and this is soo much easier and less work.

I freecycled my hand mixer right after we moved into our house. We were still living in my townhouse after we got the mixer & I didn't start using it till we moved. I LOVE IT & could not even imagine making ten pounds of mashed potatoes on thanksgiving without it!!!
I bake alot too & I just love it.
Mine stays out all the time along with the coffee pot & toaster oven-no other appliances stay out. We have plenty of counter space.

Ok I am convinced. I do have the counter space. I also only leave out the toaster oven and coffee pot. You all convinced me.
