What words does your 9 - 12 month old say?
At 9 months Lucas says:
Dada
And lots of rambling like he is having a conversation but no other words. Randomly we hear rara, baba, gaga.
So what is your child saying?

Thomas will be 11 months next week... He says:
Dada (to DH, but mostly indiscriminitely)
Mama (very rarely)
Baba - indiscriminitely
Up (occasionally - just started this)
he makes a "c" sound when we pass the grandfather clock
and a lot of babble!

dada and Schtop (stop) at 9-12mths
DS learned to yell at the dog stop when she barks before he said mama

Non-stop babblefest here.
Same here. I mean she "says" mama, dada, baba, etc. etc., but none of it is in context as far as I can tell.
ETA...she's 10 mos.

At 11 mts:
Daw EE for Doggy or any other animal 
Duh EE for the duckies in his bathtub
Ba for bath
Mama and Daddy - he actually says Daddy, not dada!!!
De or Deh Deh for Devin (his big sister that he adores)
Sometimes "No" or "yeah" depending on his mood
Wa or Water!!!! DH heard him say water or he wouldn't believe me - he loves water in his sippy cup
"Duh" for done when he is eating
