how many words should a 16 month old be saying?
i know it varies. Does anyone know a website that gives a breakdown?

don't go by us......I'm lucky if I get a mama and a dada. My Dr said not to worry until 18 mos that they usually have a word explosion between now and then

my sons speech therapist said 5 - 10 and that includes receptive speech too.. ie: pointing to what they want. so they don't actually have to be saying anything at all.. the explosion of language is usually between 18 and 24 months
