It depends on so many things.
What is the position?
Have responsibilities increased?
Prior experience?
Type & location of company?
I think monster.com or other job search sites have salary ranges for different positions that may help you figure this out.

Also some companies require degrees for certain salaries.

There the VP of corporation, there's admin-pretty vast range there...consultant, sales, accountant, HR, what's the field?

They have approximate salary calculators. You could also search the job listings and see what employers are offering.

I have been working for 5 years in the same field and feel my salary is average- based on what other people in the field were making when they were my level
ETA- I have a manager title- so that normally equals more $$$ - and Have changed companies 2 times (my 3rd one) so again - more $$$

doing what type of work? do they have a degree? is the degree related to the work? what's their perofrmance been like?
