What time did you make DC's 1st Bday Party?
The party will be on a Saturday in our house. I'm tying to arrange it around DD's nap schedule, but that's a little unpredictable. I'm leaning towards late afternoon.

I was thinking 2 would be a good time for DD, but is it a weird time for the adults to be eating a meal? It's between lunch and dinner time. I have a tendency to over-think things.

we started it at 12... he did fall asleep but over all he was awake until about 4

At that point she was taking 2 naps. I made it at 12. She had JUSt woken up at 11:30 which was perfect and then se napped from 2:30-3:30 which worked out fine. She woke up we did cake and she enjoyed most of her party

We did our DD' 1st birthday on a Saturday starting at 3pm. Worked out great!

We have DS's parties early- they usually start around 11am, the kids get there, I do some sort of entertainement around 11:30am, pizza delivered around 12:30pm, then some playtime and cake.

we did 3- 7/8pm on a Sat
I just had chips on the table when everyone came in
entertainment for the kids was 3:30-5:00pm and at 5pm I opened the food trays
we served -
Penne ala vodka
eggplant rollatine
chicken parm
pasta with sausage & broccoli
chicken fingers & french fries
salad
then about 6:15 we had cake
