What kind of milk did you transition too?
Gavin is almost 10 1/2 months, so soon he will start drinking cow's milk.
Any recommendations on what kind?
I am assuming organic whole milk?
Also, I still BF and expressing, so when I do transition I was thinking I would mix BM and whole milk? Is that a good plan?

I only use organic whole. I will usually buy S&S's Natures's Promise or Horizon.
If you are still going to express, I would think it would be great to mix!

Tara - I am starting slowly this week - will let you know how it goes. Not sure if I'll continue a.m. and p.m. nursing sessions, but as far as pumped bottles go, I am putting 1 oz of whole milk in this week. Next week I'll up it, and so on - hoping by 1 yr he'll be used to whole milk and I can pack away the pump.

Regular whole milk (not organic) - was never told by ped to use organic & actually didn't even consider it.
