What kind of food do you feed your puppy?
Our six month old puppy was eating paring one and decided the last week he didn't want it. We tried wellness because great reviews and he wouldn't touch it. We tried puppy chow and he couldn't stop eating it. He loved it! But the reviews of the ingredients were awful. I'm happy he's esting but want him to hsve what's best. He's our first puppy so we're a little unsure.

What kind of food do you feed your puppy?
My dog was a rescue also. We have been using Nutro Natural Choice since he was about 6 months. He is 2 and half now.

We have been using Iams (1-5 years)since ours was 10 weeks old. We were told to use that one. The first ingredient is chicken.

We feed blue buffalo. We've gone through many and realized she only wants the snacks we give her (fruit, vegetables, peanut butter, etc). If she won't eat the food dry, we put a bit of warm water and she eats it up.

our puppy is a rescue too and they had her on science diet...she loves it...my husband bought wellness b/c it is organic, we're making the switch when this bag is gone

Nutro natural choice chicken & rice
Sometimes just putting a little warm water (don't soak it) on the food will entice the dog to eat it again.
ETA: sometimes dogs get picky. Don't give in right away and keep changing the food. He'll eat if he's hungry enough.

Royal Canin since he was born, he's now 9, same thing.
We feed all of our dogs Royal Canin as well. We tried blue a while back but my dogs turned their noses at it so we went back to royal.

What kind of food do you feed your puppy?
Blue Buffalo dry and a mixture of Turkey, vegetables and fruit I cooked myself and store in the freezer. The vet loved hearing about what I fed my puppy and devised a recipe for other clients. He also recommended a little iodized salt.

A tip:
A healthy dog will not starve itself. Give it 3 days of tough love to give in and eat, after that, see a vet because there could be another reason he isn't eating.

Wellness. We put in 2 tsps. of Alaskan salmon oil and some organic chicken broth to moisten it. He LOVES the taste of the salmon oil (its also excellent for their coat and packed with vitamins and nutrients) and the chicken broth is much more tasty than water.

We fed our dogs puppy chow when they were pups, too. They loved it- it's the McDonalds of dog food.  It didn't do any harm, but now that we know better, we feed them Rachel Ray "Just 6" because of the limited, natural ingredients.

I forget the name - some kind of organic brand, my Vet gave me a list of ingredients to look for, like five of them, and as long as they were in there and listed as primary ingredients he was happy. So, my dog is on that - has been since day one. I went from puppy formula to adult, etc.
My dog DID decide one day to turn her nose up at the food. Once we visited the Vet and determined there were no underlying health issues causing her not to eat, and that she was just being picky, I didn't feed her for an entire day. I would offer it, she would turn away, and I would take it back.
It was about a full 24 hours - maybe a little more. Put the food down again and she ate like she was going to the electric chair!
We realized we were being played like fools! 
She hasn't pulled that stunt since.

same for my pup
i use this for my rescue dog too. i also like that it's not a "puppy" or "adult" food. its one type for all ages. which works for me cause im not 100% sure how old my dog is
