What kind of boots/shoes for wide leg pants?
I bought some awesome wide leg pants from Gap and Ann Taylor for this Fall, but the wide leg swallows my pointy toe boots, and makes me look ridiculous, like I"m not wearing any shoes.
Any suggestions? I'm thinking I might need a boot with a little more substance.

I just realized this problem today now that I'm here at work in wide leg pants and my shoes disappeared! I thought if I wore my pointy toed "witch shoes" as DH calls them, I'd be good....

I have a pair of wide leg pants form Ann Taylor that I wear with round toed flats.
But as for heals, what about wearing a round-toed boot with a wedge?

I agree, I think a stacked heel adds some substance to the shoe, which is needed to balance out the wide leg.
