do you live near syosset? post liquir my friend dane works there- he is awesome with wine!!!!!!!! tell him melissa sent you- he recommends te BEST stuff ever

Rosemont Shiraz is very good and I don't love red wine.
I think a safe white choice is Santa Margherita's Pino Grigio

I grew up right near there and used to go there a lot (I could practically walk there)!!! Now though, I live upstate with DH

I used to sell wine. I am the queen of the decent bottle between $8-15
We like alsatian and some CA rieslings as they are not as sweet at German ones
White
Chateau St Michelle Riesling
Tatto Brothers white
Conundrum white table wine($25)
Rancho Zabaco Sauvignon Blanc
Pierre Sparr Pinot Gris or Riesling
Willm Pinot Gris or Riesling
Red
Rancho Zabaco Red Zinfandel
ANY Chateneuf Du Pape($$$ but my fave red wine)
Coppola Claret
We drink white in the summer so the names of reds are escaping me

Mondavi Merlot = Red, Shiraz is also good.
I am NOT a fan of white wine at all...

No Problem! Lana you should try some of the rieslings I listed we are conossieurs(sp?) We drink way too much of it. Definitely try some riesling from Alsace-It's between France anfd Germany so the wines have a sweetnes but not overly so

I drink White mostly. Red makes me sleepy  but if I don't HAVE to drink red  I'll drink Chianti Reserved.
With white, I go with White Zinfindel

I have many more but I have to wait until I start drinking red again. FYI we just bought a case of Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc for $4 a boittle at Costco. The wine is good for every day. A little lighter than what we usually drink I think it was the Costco by the Smithhaven Mall. My DH got it

I have been on this site for months and i just figured out how to quote. Actually Moscato has a "honey" like flavor and is usually served as a dessert wine. My DH loves it. BUT it is not similar to Alsatian rieslings only German ones.
