What is the most ounces a 3.5 months old should eat in one sitting
DS just finished 10 ounces within the last 35 mins. He had an 8 oz bottle and then kept sucking so we gave him two more. He sucked that down too! Is this too much? Aren't their stomachs too small to hold that much? I mean I guess not since he just did it , but still. My goodness!

Might be a growth spurt..... Kristina's done that to me a couple of times also.
I think that on the norm at that age she was drinking around 5oz of milk.

Sofia is 7mts and only eats btwn 3-5oz per feeding
last feeding maybe 7oz

Yeah, he likes to eat! He weighed 14 lbs at his 3 months appointment but he was pretty long--26 inches. I am guessing he will be close to 16 lbs at his 4 month appointment.
The thing is too: he really only has 4 feedings a day. He sleeps from 6pm to 6 or 7am. Has a bottle upon waking. Then goes down for a nap around 8:30 for an hour or two, eats again around 10:30 11:00. Goes down for a nap around 12:00 for an hour. Has a bottle at 2:00ish, goes for a last nap around 3 for an hour or two. Wakes up has last bottle and is in bed for the night by 6:00-6:30. I guess he likes to sleep too!
So he is eating about 30 oz total which doc said is normal for his age/weight. He was sticking to 2 8oz 2 6 oz bottles for a while, but we just recently made one of the 6s an 8oz. And then tonight happened! Today he ate a total of 32oz including that last 10oz feeding.
Do you think he is ready for some solids? Doc said to start cereal and fruits/veggies at 4 months and I was worried he wouldn't be ready.
