What is the best edible favor you ever received?

Any event...doesn't have to be a wedding!

Me: went to a wedding and the bride & groom gave each person an espresso set that was made ouf of espresso flavored chocolate - I'm a huge chocolate fan and am usually a snob when it comes to flavors - this was DELICIOUS....too bad I can't track down the "maker."

Gourmet dipped barvarian pretzels with toffee and nuts and such.

So great to eat the next morning, when we were hung over.

Re: What is the best edible favor you ever received?

This past Xmas I received a gift from a French broker (from Societe Generale).

It was a solid chocolate Eiffel Tower. It was about 2 ft tall and weighed about 10 lbs....it only took me 6 days to eat it!!!!

He ordered it from La Maison du Chocolat - the best and most expensive chocolate store in the world....

It was by far the best edible gift I have ever received....Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

At a wedding I went to, the couple was big into Italian food. They had balsamic vinigar shipped from Italy in heart shaped bottles. It was such a great favor.

Leonidas is just as good...and then there's ma chere, Jacques Torres

this is an evil thread. all I want is chocolate now.

to answer the Q....I have no idea.

I liked Lindt Truffles...and I used part of the wine you gave at your wedding to make a slamming bolognese sauce...does that count (does it count that I drank the other half of the bottle while cooking, so my rating may be skewed

I gave Lindt as part of my wedding favor.Chat Icon Glad you liked them!

As for me, I have liked all of the edible favors. Jessica's bridal shower favors were awesome. It was an umbrella chocolate lollipop.
