what do you think of super short hair?
So I'm on the fence...I always do this!! My hair is at an awkward stage. I need to get it cut. I either have to let it grow, so I'd just get at trim or CHOP IT OFF! I have had really short hair before but don't know if I'm ready for the commitment again. What do you think of super short hair..not really a pixie, but just longer? I know some people just HATE women with short short hair, but I think that if someone can pull it off that it can look really great.

Honestly I only like it on older women. My friend just cut her hair like Rihanna and IMO it's too short. I think it's like wasting your good hair years! JMHO though

I like it, but only if you have that really chic stylish look about you..
I don't like when it looks like someone just cut their hair short because it would be "easy"
Although the actual "doing your hair" is easier.. I feel like you have to make up for the lack of hair by being super stylish and doing up the makeup and accessories

I have very short hair. Like mia farrow in rosemary's baby short. I think it looks good on some people and not so good on others. It's not an easy look to pull off or keep up. How short are you thinking? Pics?

BunnyWife, you are one of the few "real life" women that I have seen pull off super short hair. It looks great on you!! I think that while short hair may seem to be less maintenance, it can be a lot more work in terms of trims, styling plus, clothes, accessories and makeup like a PP said.

I think most people look good with shorter hair than they think they can get away with.
Some people look great with short hair. My mom had super short hair when she got married (she was 23, early 70s) & I think it looked great.

I don't think I like it on her, but that's just because she has a funny shaped head, that is too big for her body. She doesn't look masculine, just unbalanced.

I think a lot of it has to do with a woman's attitude. My girlfriend had a pixie cut and she rocked it. I absolutely loved it on her. Then she met her DH and he made her grow it out.  Her personality has changed along with her hair. 
Both my neighbors have short hair (one is 40 and the other is in her mid-40s) and they look fabulous, again it's their spunky attitudes.
I should also add that all these woman are on the shorter side, so maybe that's why I think it flatters them. If I had short hair, I'd be mistaken as a man b/c of my height and build. I'm still envious though b/c I really do like short hair on women.

I disagree, I think young or older, only certain people have the face and bone structure for short hair - My Mom looks AWESOME with a pixie cut, she looks AWFUL when she grows her hair out in a bob .........My Aunt looks the exact opposite, she has beautiful long dark hair and once cut it short and horrified everyone ........-
I have friends who look great with short short hair, and some who couldn't pull it off in a million years - to me with a short 'do you HAVE to be willing to style it properly otherwise you just look like a frumpy old lady (no matter what your age)

I like it, I have short hair. (see album if you want BabyZ) I think some can pull it off some can't. I am going back to long, because I am now bored with the short hair. It all depends on you face structure and attitude. JMO
My hair before I chopped it off was past my bra, the I grad went shorter. One day boom, all off.

I think only a few women can really pull off super short hair. It has a lot to do with your facial features and bone structure. I think most women look better with longer hair.

I love short haircuts on women. I think the right cut and color can look good on anyone. I use to have a pixie cut and loved it.
But it can get expensive keeping up with it.

Ehhh yes and no. My DH loves long hair. I know he loves long hair. So, why would I cut it?
If I did cut it he would probably tease me about it for a while and then get used to it. But why would I go and do something on purpose that I knew he didnt like. So while I try NOT to, sometimes I will say something like "DH won't let me cut my hair" but its not entirely true.
