What do you feel too old for?

Is there anything you used to wear or do that you feel too old for now?

Clubs...I'm just not in to them anymore. Bars are OK but not clubs.

Oh yeah and I agree on the mini skirt thing...but mainly just because I'm insecure about some tattoos I have.

definitely!!

No more midriff tops for me. ALso I used to love thigh highs that showed skin between the thigh high and the skirt- and I see its in style again- but it would look so funny on me now.
My short skirts have gotten much longer.

I feel too old for certain types of clubs & bars definitely. Some of the trends that come out sometimes I feel too old for... can't think of any specifically right now. I don't feel too old for mini skirts... I just never really cared for them. If I was a twig, I might wear them on occasion.

I could never get away with short skirts.. even when I was as skinny as I've ever been, I never had good legs... so I aint gonna start wearing them now!!


I also simply CANNOT go out too late during the week, or else I'm shot for work the next day (and when I was in my 20s and single I was out EVERY NIGHT drinking , etc, and never missed a day of work )

Oh yeah Flee... I'm too old for Thursday night (college night) drinking binges (or any work night for that matter) where you go to work/school hung over the next day!!

Z100! I feel like an old lady when I hear the what they talk about - - - and I lost touch with the music a few years ago.

the list is long...here are a few things I feel to old for.

1. Wearing overly revealing clothes
2. Dying my hair funky colors...(although I miss this one)
3. Clubs and most bars
4. Playing with Barbies
5. Spending all my spare $$ on new clothes
6. The Prom
7. To be a Flower Girl
8. Hanging up Posters of Kirk Cameron and NKOTB
9. Body Glitter
10. Waiting for the Laundry Fairy to clean and fold my clothes
11. Eating anything I want when ever I want...Metabolism and age have caught up with me
12. Sex in cars...it really isn't all the pleasent anyway...If spur of the moment hits you....find the nearest hotel.
13. Passing notes in class.

Clubs definitely- sometimes clothes that have characters or sayings (like abercrombie ts), depending on what it is

we used to be up till 5, and then get up for an 8 am class

At my ripe age of 23 I feel too old for the following:


1.I used to go to concerts all the time n stand for 5 hours...now the thought of going one makes me shudder.

2.I agree w/Flee-I NEVER go out during the week, and if I do, even if its for one night-I'm all messed up...

Ok- well, I am too old for drinking how I did in my early to mid-20's.. As soon as I turned 26-- it all went downhill. I have learned to embrace my party-pooperness...

too old to smoke a joint and not feel it the next day...

too old to watch MTV for prolonged periods of time without getting incredibly annoyed...

too old to stay out past 1 AM...

too old to work 10+ hour days...

too old to stay up for SNL (I always fall asleep)..

Um- and I am really not that old-- and poor DH is younger than me!

Certain concerts....sometimes I ask myself - were these kids even born when the bands first album was out?
