Have never really tried Huggies (except for few samples here and there). I loved swaddlers and now I'm loving cruisers.

Its funny, the girls were shaped differently, so Miranda fit into Pampers better, but Huggies are better for Melanie. I think it really depends on the shape of the child

PAMPERS....Bella has been using them since she has been born(swaddlers) she is almost 11 months and she is using pampers baby dry or cruisers. Anytime she used huggies she peed through them! I also like how Pampers has the points on each package of diapers or wipes where you earn points for toys and other great items! (pampers.com)

pampers for DD. Huggies leak like crazy on us and they didn't cover her butt all that well. The swaddlers caught those explosive poos!
the swaddlers are much more stretchy and softer.

The hospital sent us home with Pampers swaddlers, never had a problem. We had a lot of samples Huggies but they always leaked. So we stuck with Pampers. We are now using the cruisers and love them!

In the beginning, DD was fine with Huggies, then everything started leaking out of them. Since then we have only used Pampers (either the Baby Dry or the Swaddlers).
I bought a bunch of Huggies with coupons before DD was born and then was able to exchange them for the Pampers at BRU. I got full credit for them so if you have coupons for the Huggies, it may pay to get them now and then exchange them later if you want to.

But my choice is pampers..

WE use whichever is on sale 
I find that huggies seems to run smaller, but I have yet to find a diaper that I will not buy again (well oh yeah S&S's store brand ). We mostly use Pampers & Huggies because I get killer deals on them. and recently bought WB store brand and stocked up on some, they are identical to BJs store brand.
I guess I was raised by the old fashion types who made me grateful that we can even AFFORD disposable diapers (and washing machines, and TV's, and you know the deal )
A diaper is a freakin diaper  
I cant make a production of my babys size shape and what diaper is better than another. If its 10cents a diaper, it works for me. and most of the time, its been pampers and huggies and a few times, Luvs. same with wipes.
Now things like school districts, Ive put a little more thought into
not meant to offend anyone

Pampers... I have bought huggies and luvs and didn't care for either. DH swore up and down that they were generic bc they felt rough
