I think we're going to make heart-shaped pizza with DD, then maybe have some wine after she goes to bed.
I don't like going out to eat on holidays and we will need to furnish a house soon so we're cutting back on spending.

Just before bedtime, Joseph came into to tell me that he was looking forward to taking me out somewhere special for Valentine's Day.
I didn't have the heart to tell him we never go out on Valentine's Day because I hate the idea of celebrating Vday in a restaurant or that Daddy & I had numerous conversations where we both agreed that Valentine's Day was a Hallmark holiday & it was the holiday we liked the least.
In an instant, Valentine's Day has just taken on a new meaning for me. Now I'm considering going out on Valentine's Day for the meal my Valentine would want most. Ugh...McDonalds. What we do for love....sigh!
I'm hoping my Valentines upgrade it to something better, like Friendly's Poor, poor DH

we used to go out before mortgages and kids... :)
but now i usually make a filet mignon and lobster, shrimp cocktail and fresh mozzerella for appetizer then i buy a nice yummy dessert... usually warm chocolate lava cakes with ice cream or something.... it a nice expensive dinner out but really inexpensive at home..

We are staying in on Saturday. Maybe light a fire, drink some expensive champagne, and just be together...
Friday the 13th however we are going out with a group of friends and just having a blast because my sis is bartending for the night. My MIL is taking Bella overnight....we will make-out madly at midnight or something 
Plus, our 6th anniversary is March 14th, so we are doing it up then 
We have a lot of fun together...
