What are you getting DH for Valentine's Day?
I need some ideas and you ladies always have good ideas! I want to get DH a little something for valentine's day...nothing to expensive, but nothing cheesy either.
Any ideas would be appreciated!! TIA

I am totally out of ideas for this year...some cute, very inexpensive things I've done in the past...I wrote him a poem and framed it, he actually cried (which is kind of funny, DH is this big guy, and works in law enforcement, he doesn't cry often).
For our first anniversary of dating I bought a journal and wrote "the 365 reasons why I love you," he loved it - in fact he keeps bugging me about why I don't keep it updated....you could do 100 reasons why I love you.
For our first wedding anniversary I just made him a photo book of our first year of marriage, and he loved that. I made it on Shutterfly, and I think it came out to about 40-50 bucks.

I don't think we'll exchange for V-Day! Our 30th bdays are coming up so we might splurge for a joint gift together and buy a plasma for the condo!

It sounds strange, but Omaha Steaks sellls a "Freezer Full of Meat". It comes with a whole bunch of different varieties of steaks, chicken, fish and a few sides.
DH is such a carnivore! I think he's going to like this and I get to enjoy it as well!

I got DH the pedal car and gas pump that he wanted...
Oh, normally I wouldn't spend 350.00 on valentine's day, but it's our wedding anniversary so it's an anniversary/valentine's day combo gift.
The best part is that he thinks I don't want him to get this car/pump because I think it's silly. I created this whole scenario just to prevent him from actually buying it himself. Image Attachment(s):

i never really get DH anything cause he says its a girls holiday. i usually get him a card, he gets me flowers and we got out to dinner. one year i got him a build a bear and he was so surprised and loved it!

We don't really do anything. Its the night before a payday, so we usually wait til after the 15th to go out to dinner.
Plus, our wedding anniversary is 11 days later, so we rather do something then.
I have an OB appointment that night at 7pm, I just checked how romantic!

Dh's birthday is on the 11th, so I might get him a big combined gift. I am thinking either a Bose center channel speaker becaue it's the only thing he needs t complete the set, or an external hard drive for the computer to store all of his music in.
The hard part is going to be finding him something from the baby!

Tough call. V Day is 4 days before our anniversary. I know what he would like to have but all of his choices are terribly functional and the furthest thing from romantic for either celebration.

I'm good for a few cards and we always buy each other the sweethearts with the sayings on them.
This year I will be recovering from surgery so I already got his cards and the candy.
Our anniversary is Feb 28 so we'll celebrate that by going out for dinner somewhere nice and making googly eyes at each other..
9 years ands still making googly eyes at each other..
...blech...are we disgusting or what?
