West Islip commuters (NYC bound)
We are currently looking in West Islip off of Union and I was wondering how your commute into NYC is? Where do you take the trains from and how is the parking? My Dh commutes in and he drives to Massapequa Park from West Babylon because we are unsure where to park in Babylon Village without paying a monthly fee to park...

My brother lives in West Islip and my mom in North Babylon. Both take the Babylon line in and have to pay at the meters ($4 a day I think?).

I live in W.Babylon and there are parking lots all around the train station that are $3 a day...

We live in West Islip, and my husband goes to Deer Park and takes the Ronkonkoma line. Babylon is a little closer, but parking is much easier at Deer Park.

you'll have to pay to park if you go from the babylon train station -- and you'll have to get there early to get a spot!

DH goes out of Babylon. $3 a day to park in the lots or $3 a day at the meters, which require quarters. But as others have said you have to get there early to get a spot.

I commute out of babylon.
I take a 6am train and all spots directly in the train station are taken.
There are other lots that you can park in. I park in a lot 2 blocks away that has plenty of spots.
