NYC restaraunt recommendation - somewhere btwn 18th and 34th St on the west side
I am going to the Kate Spade sample sale tomorrow night with girlfriends. Afterwards we are going to grab dinner before catching a train back to LI - any recommendations? I think the sale is on 18th around 8th Ave. So somewhere btwn that and Penn would be great.

Le Singe Vert - 7th and 20th I think - french bistro with very nice price fixe option.

I LOVE that place.
beware, they only take Amex or cash.
You can also go to Pastis.
or steak frite
or rosa mexicana
or sala 19
craft bar
salsa y salsa
sushi samba (not really west side- it's on park south)
edited to add Cafeteria (also on 7th ave)

La Signe Vert, Pastis, Sushi samba and Cafeteria are some of my faves!
There is also this great place called Elmo on 7th Ave around 19th street. Yummy "comfort" food, chic atmosphere and good prices.

We ended up going to Sushi Samba last night and it was excellent! Thanks for the recommendations.
