well it looks like we might be taking the plunge
I made an appt. for sat. to start our kitchen planning. It's going to be a long process - and hard with a baby and no kitchen - but I am really excited...wish me luck.

Good Luck!!!!!!!! It's going to be a little inconvenient for a while but the finished product will definitely be worth it. DH and I just redid our kitchen in June so I know what it's like, but we are SO HAPPY now!!!!!!

WE are doing it also, we have 5 appointments this week for kitchen redos and its all very grown up isn't it!!!
I got the new kitchen bug!!!

I just redid my kitchen and with a toddler its hard. Don't know if you can ask your contractor but mine managed to leave my electric stove and my sink connected. So even though I didn't have any walls he left things very clean so I was still able to heat up things and wash dishes. It was interesting but at least I wasn't completely without a way to wash bottles etc.

We're finally having our cabinets installed this Saturday and appliances delivered. Countertops and electric will be done by early September. We've been without a kitchen for 2 months now, but we don't have kids. It's a pain in the butt, but we know the results will be worth it. Good Luck!
