Weird ?, does anyone know anyone who is HIV +?
My generation has grown up with AIDS and it was drilled into our heads that we would eventually know someone or be a victim of HIV.
Thank god, I don't know anyone (or that I am aware of), but to be honest I always thought I would by now.
Kinda depressing, I know, but I have been thinking about this lately.

I have known 3 people who have had hiv and then aids and have since passed away. Such a sad disease.

My mom's cousin, who was homosexual in the studio 54 days died of it. He was one of the first (speaking when it was new and the numbers were low) to pass of it.

I've lost 7 friends/coworkers to AIDS related complications. Currently I know 3 who are HIV positive. Thankfully with medications, they haven't experienced any symptoms.
