We finally have a date!!!!
We ended up at the doctor yesterday a week before our scheduled visit. Sunday night our platform bed broke and the upper part collapsed. We fell on an incline and thankfully not too far of a fall. (DH didn't even realize what exactly happened until he heard me scared wondering what the heck just happened!)
Anyway, we slept the rest of the night on the sofabed but first listened to the heartbeat. When we woke up Monday and went to listen to the heartbeat, we heard nothing. Turns out the monitor is actually broken but we went to the doctor to be safe. I was put on a monitor to make sure the baby was not in any distress. Funny how we can hear what an active little one we have inside while I barely feel movement except for once in awhile.
Since we were at the OB a week early, we filled out all of our pre-registration paperwork which they will submit to the hospital.
By the time we got home from ordering our new bedroom set, we had a message that barring any complications - amnio will be July 23 and DOODLEBUG'S ARRIVAL IS GOING TO BE TUESDAY JULY 24th.

Thanks so much everyone! I guess getting the date made it that much more "real" to me!
When my DS was born 1 day shy of 27 weeks, I had a classical c-section (up & down vs. across). Because of that I cannot go through full labor and contractions. So my OB is going to try his best to get us to 37 weeks and check lung development before delivery. He really is going to do his best to not have us have another NICU visit with this baby. It may turn out to be 36 weeks or earlier but I am hoping for NO COMPLICATIONS and to deliver at 37 weeks.

Oh, I see. I'm sorry to hear that your 1st was born at 27 weeks, although all looks good now! Must've been scary!
