We are having our walls totally redone...Pics of the progression..New pics 5/1
Before pic...took this yesterday (4/27)
Just wanted to add that we are not doing this ourselves. We are using a great contractor. We could never ever have done this ourselves.
Close up of the crap that is all over every wall and door way in our LR and DR!
 
And after the walls were ripped out...(4/28)

WOW there is hardwood under there...they were able to remove the carpet today!

Can't wait to see pics of the new walls. We did the same thing to the walls in our old house and now it feels like a new house.
My mom has the same sofa as you I love it. She is thinking of getting a new sofa and I keep telling her she should so she will give the old one.

Congrats...it must be so exciting. I can't wait to do the samething to my entire upstairs. Would you mind sharing how much this renovation cost so I can be prepared when I start getting estimates in a few weeks. Did you also update the wiring ?

Oh! I know how good you must feel! We had funky 70's plaster action on our foyer & hallway walls....
I was when it came down & new walls went up!
Granted....we didn't move as fast as you guys!
